For Episode 3, “Sideways Glance,” JONNY CUBA & FRIENDS welcomes DJ Darrell Harring aka Wax Buzzard to kick things off with a set of high octane breaks and rare funky covers, featuring tracks from Prince Buster, The Budos Band, Soul Sugar, and the Visioneers, among others.  Jonny takes on the second half with a set of more super rare and funky soul, reggae and jazz cover versions, featuring tracks from Roy Ayers, Matumbi, Ernie Wilkins, Duke Pearson and much more.

Darrell, a pro beatmaker, cratedigger and DJ, was an integral member of the legendary pioneering UK b-boy crew “Second To None” as Ice Rock Dee/Ice Kid Deeho, featured in the documentary “Second To None Presents ‘The B-Boy Mercenaries'” available here on YouTube
